rêverie / a state of being pleasantly lost in one's thoughts
The Rêverie workshop was born from a desire to connect and to create by Perth wedding photographer, Alice Andre. It was a day filled with dreamy editorial content and education for wedding photographers to hone their craft, connect, discover and create in a safe and inspiring space.
Inspired by the warmth of the sunrise over the Mediterranean Sea, the styling of the Rêverie shoot was a distinctly European dreamscape. Forever drawn to the softest baby blue and lemon hues, this palette played a central role in the styling by Pop Up Planning Co throughout the day. Hand painted stationery by Creative Line and Co took centre stage and tied ever so elegantly with whimsy florals by Rose and Bud.
This tablescape played host to an enchanting long lunch overlooking the manicured gardens of the private estate.
Tahlia stunned in an old worldly silhouette with bold lines by Karen Willis Holmes, complementing the editorial's aesthetic use of timeless elegance with a refreshing modern edge.
Tahlia wore the Karen Willis Holmes Roberta and Karly, with their bow jacket for the styled ceremony before a quick change into their long puff sleeves for the reception.
With an exaggerated tulip silhouette, this Van Der Kooij's silk Hettie gown was the perfect gown to create distinctly editorial moments.
A structured corset and architectural inspired organza skirt by Saint Bridal Couture was the perfect last look.
