Old School Romanticism with a Modern Edge

Brides beware – by the end of this post even the most modern brides could be booking an elopement in UK to get married in a classical old building.

The Ashton Memorial is a stunning building in Lancashire, England which was built between 1907 and 1909. It serves as the perfect contrasting backdrop to this modern shot with some very talented bridal creatives.

Modern two piece bridal gowns, thigh high slits, co-ord sets and even a pair of bridal pants make for the perfect statement against a very regal backdrop. These creations are all by UK designer Jessica Bennett Bespoke.

A gorgeous modern bouquet and installation by Sassflower make the space a touch more feminine whilst the crisp whites and asymmetrical nature ensure they still perfectly nail the modern brief.

Ruth Atkinson Photography captures the whole scene perfectly and her shots excude a sense of old school romanticism with a modern edge. All the details of the stunning garments as well as the blooms and tablescapes are perfectly captured and all shine without overpowering one another.
