Honeymoon Season Outfits

The weather is warming up which means it’s the perfect time to plan romantic getaways. Whether they’re just because, to destress and reconnect in the midst of hectic wedding planning or if it’s your long overdue honeymoon – I’ve compiled a few of my favourite honeymoon outfits and some tips to consider when packing for your break.

-Always pack pieces that don’t need an iron – linen that looks good with a wrinkle or two is my top pick.
-Pack easy accessories that will take your look from the beach to the restaurant.
-Stick to neutral tones so you don’t have to think twice on what goes with what.

-Don’t forget to pack a hat! Not only are they a great accessory, but you’ll thank yourself for being sun smart in the years to come.
-Bikinis are all well and good but nothing beats the chic appeal of a one-piece. Look for a simple shape in a bold colour, then layer it under wide-leg pants or a cotton midi skirt to go from beach to bar.
-Invest in a good white button-down top. They’re not just for the office, they come in handy from wearing over bathers to the pool to tying up with denim shorts while you go on adventures.
-Wicker and woven accessories are everywhere this season, so take full advantage and pretend you happened upon them in a far-flung market.

-Don’t forget to pack a pretty dinner-date dress for romantic evenings. A silk slip midi is my go to.
-Continue the white theme! If you’re going away straight after your wedding you’re bound to have a beautiful bridal glow still so make the most of it while you still can. If you have a ‘Bride’ or ‘Mrs’ tee, this is the perfect excuse to wear it because who knows, you might get an upgrade.
-Don’t forget the essentials that are much cheaper to bring them from home then to buy them in a tourist town.
