Fashion Film Festival – The Perfect Girls Night Out

So many brides are lost when it comes to ideas for a stylish and unique hens night or way to thank their girlfriends for being involved in their wedding. Sure, high teas are lovely, but if we’re being honest I think we can all agree that they’ve been done to death.

Too often, these brides join in with the multitudes of people who criticise Perth for a lack of culture – and for too long they were mostly right. But things are changing in little old sleepy Perth to the extent that for once, we have an amazing event before the other states.

The Fashion Film Festival was founded by Elizabeth Clarke, an incredibly talented lady who has styled and written about fashion for over twenty years. She has devised a completely unique and glamorous experience – so much so that going to the movies will never be as satisfying again.

Elizabeth has designed the evenings to make walking into the new boutique cinema The Backlot feel that you’re almost walking into the set of the movie itself. With gorgeous models styled to the theme of the movie lounging effortlessly over Hollywood-esque signs, waiters passing you champagne and chic cinema eats – it is a truly stylish night that will leave you feeling like a celebrity.

I was lucky enough to view Ellery in Paris, and accordingly the night had the most surreal Parisian feel to it. From sweet treats by Rochelle Adonis, to an endless flow of sparkling from Vinaceous Wines – if I squinted and looked to the Perth skyline, I could almost imagine there was an Eiffel Tower.

So if you’re after the perfect girls night, pre-wedding, post-wedding, or you don’t even need a wedding as an excuse – Sex and the City is screening on Wednesday the 14th of October. Your tickets include so much more than the film itself, you’ll be spoilt with Cosmopolitans, chic eats, entertainment and an enex100 fashion focus session on how to steal the fab four’s style! Purchase your tickets here now, and I mean now – they most definitely will sell out.
