Are you jetsetting off on your honeymoon soon? Here are my top travel beauty tips that you can get done before you even leave, leaving more time each day for other things!
When I go on holiday I like to keep my beauty looks as low maintenance as possible when it comes to the time I spend getting ready each morning. Because when you’re exploring a new city or country, do you really want to spend half the morning struggling with getting your winged eyeliner to match up on both sides?! These are my top tips for things to get done before you even pack your bags…
Have your eyebrows shaped and lashes tinted
Everyone knows that if you’re brows are looking on point, you can get away with minimal effort on the rest of your look. That’s why I’ll always book in a visit to Brazilian Butterfly to my lashes tinted and brows waxed the week before a getaway. This means I know I can wake up without having to maintain my brows, and I can take a dip in the beach without having to stress whether or not my mascara will run!
Load up on the Seasalt Spray
I too often spend all day by the beach, getting gorgeous natural beach waves, then when I head back to my hotel to shower before dinner and I’m back to my usual, not so beach boho babe worthy, hair. After a few times of this dissapointing routine, I’ve become a serious Seasalt Spray fan. You spritz it onto just-washed hair before blow-drying. Step out of the bathroom and vavoom – beachy hair without the beach! Low maintenance.
Get a spray tan
For many a spray tan is always a must before they go away to ensure that when they get there – it looks like they’ve been there forever and they haven’t actually just hopped off the plane! Plus, often when you’re bronzed you don’t need to wear much makeup. Sunsmart and Low Maintenance!
Get a mani/pedi
As my last trip was to Bali (read all about it here), I actually waited until I reached the hotel to book a mani pedi in at my favourite Bali salon. I usually go for a clear polish on my fingernails because I hate chipped nails, and a bright colour that pops on my toes to go with my new (albeit fake) tan!
