Galia Lahav’s latest Bridal Couture collection ‘Florence by Night’ was inspired by their exploration into the world of scents and perfumery. Such an intangible sense makes scent almost a fantasy – and the collection has been inspired by visions of a mystical night garden where rare florals bloom. The gowns encapsulate everything from dreamy, sweet smells, to floral and herbal notes, and even more androgynous musks.
A bride’s desire to express her individuality in her daily life with her scent, and through fashion on her wedding day, ushered in new approaches to gossamer tulles, fine laces and intricate embroidery. These innovative details have been woven into their interpretation of how the world of scents would come to life in our latest collection, Florence by Night.
The Amaya is a heavily embellished dress which will capture the light wherever you go. It’s daring plunging neckline is offset by a voluminous skirt and long sleeves. The dress is entirely embroidered with Swarovski crystals to create an all over stardust effect – sure to make you sparkle on your wedding day.
With a semi sheer underlay of French lace, the Juniper gown is both daring and demure.
Deep plunging neck softened by embroidered lace, the Mila is finished with an tiered tulle skirt. Each tier has a horse hair hem – as it’s all about the details.
Another daring neckline, the Cami has a halter top with silk tulle draping. It’s finished with a tiered ankle length tulle skirt in shades of blush and ivory, embroidered with ivory coral and feathers.
The Bryony is one of the more traditional gowns from the collection – with modern touches such as a low back and a plunging sweetheart neckline finished with off the shoulder straps. The dress is made of a 3-D tulle that is embroidered with scattered leaf motifs and organza flowers.

This high neck mermaid dress is every bit as sophisticated as it is sensual. It’s made from an embroidered French lace with a rose motif. It’s keyhole back and sheer fabric make it modern and oh so magnificent.
One of my favourite princess gowns in a long time, the Magnolia is a corseted ballerina ballgown made of soft silk tulle, a draped corset and a sheer voluminous skirt.
From one high to another, the Valerian is an incredible ivory and silver hand embroidered column dress with a deep plunging v-neckline. It’s perfect for a second dress to change into at your reception, or for brides opting for a civil ceremony rather than an elaborate wedding. The dress has floral and fishnet embroidery and scattered silver fringes
The Emrys is a sheer mermaid dress made of embroidered tulle in a striking combination of silver and ivory.
Another dramatic column dress in the collection is the Cherry Blossom. With a geometric cutout bodysuit and accentuated shoulders, it’s a statement modern dress fit for an ‘it’ bride.
A soft and romantic gown, the Ambrosia is a sheer hand beaded kimono dress with a high slit and a low asymmetrically draped back
